DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING SCHOOL

The core of the ministry at EIG is the two-year discipleship training school. As Paul labored, so we work to present every student complete in Christ (Col 1:28).

This training begins with thorough teaching of biblical truth. The core curriculum includes intensive one-year classes in both O.T. and N.T surveys. An in-depth study of Romans to grasp its fundamental truths of the Gospel highlights the first year. Additionally each student will have courses that teach the biblical principles of prayer, spiritual conflict, practical Christian living, and ministry.

But discipleship is more than knowledge. We do not emphasize grades as the primary measure of success. Truth must be applied. Disciples must master spiritual disciplines that will promote continued spiritual growth. We emphasize the practice of prayer and worship, scheduling in large chunks of time for these vital disciplines. Thus we as a staff hope to encourage every student to develop a vital love for Jesus Christ that will motivate joyous fellowship and faithful service as they continue in the life of faith.
